International Association for Jazz Education
2000-2008 Annual Conferences
|
The IAJE annual conventions, attended each year by several thousand
professional musicians, recording artists, educators, students, industry
professionals and jazz aficionados were recognized as the largest
gathering of the global jazz community. Our jazz education catalog
contains hundreds of recorded clinics, panels and conversations with
master musicians, educators and industry professionals. A short list of
presenters and participants includes Artie Shaw, Jamey Aebersold, David
Liebman, Freddie Hubbard, Randy Brecker, Kurt Elling, Peter Erskine,
Kenny Werner, Roy Haynes, John Hendricks, Oscar Peterson, Gunther
Schuller, Jim Hall, Nat Hentoff, Phil Woods, Billy Taylor, Gene
Bertoncini, Dick Hyman, Paris Rutherford, Jimmy Cobb, Randy Weston and
many other jazz masters, educators, writers and producers. In April
2008 IAJE closed its doors ending its 40 year run. Stay tuned for
information on the new JEN (Jazz Education Network).
